What are the different types? What are the different type of Rats? :D?
HAHA
Those are all one type, FANCY.
A fancy rat is a common domestic rat, Rattus Norvegicus.
There is a great variety of types, but it depends on what you classify them by.
There are Coat/Marking types, Ear types, and Body types.
Husky, as you mentioned, is a Marking type. It resembles the look of a husky dog.
Sometimes, they are called Roans, though by proper standards they are two seperate markings.
Other marking types include hooded, masked, english, irish, banded, self, blazed, capped, dalmatian, berkshire, merle and others.
Dumbo is an ear type. There are two types of ears: Top-eared and Dumbo.
Dumbos have ears that are bigger, more flat and placed lower on their heads, giving them a sad but adorable look.
Top-eared rats are more common, thier ears are placed more toward the top of thier head and thei are slightly smaller than that of a dumbo.
Coat types include Standard: short straight fur. Rex: Curley fur and whiskers. Satin: Extra soft, fine, slightly longer fur. Harley: Long, wavy fur. Hairless: No fur. Double rex/Patchwork: Patches of fur that grow and shed in different places on the body throughout the rats life.
There are three body types.
Standard, the most common fancy rat.
Dwarf, are about 1/3 the size of a Stadard.
Manx, any coat/marking/size born without tails.

Just a couple things to add...
';Fancy rat'; is short for ';fancied rat'; and refers to any rat bred by a rat fancier TO BE A PET.
Because true rat fanciers do not supply petstores with their rats when pet stores advertise fancy rats this is false advertising. Their rats may look cute but pet store rats aren't bred or raised in any way that distinguishes them from any other rats usually.
In the US you will find people that have bred for mutations that cause hairlessness, bald spots, or even so that the rats have no tails! But in England most ratters look down on this practice as all of these mutations can really negatively impact a rat's quality of life.
So called dwarf rats are rats with a mutation that stunts their growth. Many of these remain immature mentally as well as physically and can be harder to train.
Dumbo rats are usually white and most people own them.
Fancy rats are just normal rats.
Husky rats have persific markings.
