Do rats and mice hibernate ? How long ? ...thank you for your answers.?

Nope. They just might sleep a little longer in colder weather because they are reluctant to leave their warm comfy beds.

I think we can all relate to that.Do rats and mice hibernate ? How long ? ...thank you for your answers.?
No, I live in Canada, they burrow under the snow here or get into peoples houses for warmth. They can't survive with out eating every few hours.Do rats and mice hibernate ? How long ? ...thank you for your answers.?
No.
Not from my experiences.

I've had rats for the past few years, and every day they greet me by the door to say good-bye. Then every evening they're ready for play-time.

Are your rats still active?

Do you give them attention daily? Or almost daily?

If you don't give them much attention, it's possible they haven't adjusted to your schedule. By nature, rats are awake and active at night, so if you haven't changed their schedule by playing with them during the day when you're available, then it's likely they will want to be sleeping.

The plus side... you get to see those cute little rat yawns. :)
no i have rats and they are ever as active as they are in the summer as winter. except a little sad cause it is too cold outside for them to play in the grass. such a disappointment. they like to borrow but not hibernate
