My rats are loud at night?

I have two female rats, there cage is in the hallway outside my room. Normally they aren't loud but sometimes they are exetremely loud and my dogs (that sleep in my room) freak out.


Theres no were else in the house my mom will allow me to keep them and I'm not sure what to do. Is it the cage I have, are aquiriums quieter? Or is it I have to many toys in the cage?My rats are loud at night?
You will probably have to switch to quieter toys. Rats are nocturnal.My rats are loud at night?
