Do rats with color really have less problems than rats with solid colors (albino ones)?

I heard that rats with solid colors (white mostly) have more health issues than a hooded rat would -or any other kind of rat with diff. colors. Is that true?Do rats with color really have less problems than rats with solid colors (albino ones)?
NO WAY!! A rat is a rat is a rat!! Color and ear shape (dumbos vs standard ear) have nothing to do with health issues. The only exception are hairless rats. The same gene mutation that causes them to be hairless causes shorter life spans, less developed immune systems and maternal instincts.Do rats with color really have less problems than rats with solid colors (albino ones)?
I think that misconception came about because the albino rats are more commonly bred as feeder rats, whereas the pretty colored rats are more often bred as pets. People who want to breed pet rats are more likely to have healthy, more well adjusted animals, and of course prettier colors for the demand. They are more likely to know the pedigree of the rat they are breeding, and discontinuing the unhealthy lines that may crop up. This is of course a generality. Ive seen some pretty colored rats in horrible pet stores sold as feeders, and also some albinos, ect that are healthy and well adjusted sold as pets.
I have had several PEWS (pink eyed whites) and they weren't any sicker than any other rattie. I believe substandard breeding practices (think pet stores and backyard breeders) are more indicative of a rattie being sicker. Females are more likely to get mammary tumors.
sort of. From what I know the difference lies in the eyes and their vision. Rats have poor, blurry vision in general but albino rats are blind or severely impaired. For more info go here, I'm going to bed lol

Yeah i think that the white ones can get skin problems like cancer because they're more exposed
