Ive made my rats a slide, will they use it?

its just a thick tube, and ive tied one end on it to the top level of their cageIve made my rats a slide, will they use it?
They wouldn't ever slide down. Rats aren't like us and prefer to always be in control of their movements. Sliding down something would be disorienting for them. They may use it to walk up or down if it's not too steep.Ive made my rats a slide, will they use it?
Yes, your rat will use it to get to the other level! Just give them some time to examine the slide. If they're not going to use the slide take them out and the slide and let them get use to going in and out of it!


Then after a couple of times you do that, put them back in the cage with the slide in position. Put your rats in the enter bit of the slide.


P.s. they're never going to slide down it... their going to walk or run down it!

Propbably, Hold them and put them at the start of the slide, and put a treat at the bottom so they get the hang of it, they will propbably not 'slide' down, they will crawl down.
They might and they might not. Rats are like people, some will go down the slide, others will not. If the rats need a place to hide, they might seek shelter in the slide.
sounds good, but have you thought of turning it into a water slide?





then when excited your rat will get all hot and wet and you might need to get it out.
it really depends on your rat if he is curious he mite use it and slide but i think he would ust run down it.
